About Evoke Marketing

Evoke Marketing was established in 2019 after I made the decision to move my family from Auckland (where I had lived for 20 years) back home to the Bay of Plenty.  We now reside in Papamoa and my 2 boys are benefitting from a more laid back, beachside lifestyle.

The move out of Auckland triggered a change for me away from full time positions in corporates to more project based work.  I currently have clients who are Auckland based, and am happy to work with companies in Auckland or in the Bay of Plenty or Waikato regions.

I believe there will be a need for my skill set across a number of businesses who identify a gap in marketing thinking but can't justify a full time senior marketing role within their organisations.  I am keen to increase my network of future thinking businesses who need a marketing 'impact player'.

About Kylie

I completed a BMS Hons at Waikato University majoring in Marketing and have since been lucky enough to gain experience across a number of industries (FMCG, Telco, Not for Profit, Building Products) and in a number of Bluechip organisations (Goodman Fielder, Telecom, Fonterra, Fletcher Building, Frucor Beverages, Coca Cola Amatil).

My roles have ranged from product & brand management (with a big focus on innovation & positioning of multiple brands in the same category) to Insights, communications strategy & development and broader business strategy.  In my last role at Laminex New Zealand I managed a marketing team of 13 and was also part of the senior leadership team helping set longer term business strategy whilst managing the monthly delivery of financial results.

I am a big picture / creative problem solver who understands how new ideas will help or alter business strategy, and the ability to project manage the details (get stuff done).

I love working/engaging with others, motivating and coaching them through decisions and creating process and structure to enable this to happen.  I am an effective facilitator, listener and presenter - and can build confidence and belief in others.
